But it's also admission this may not last very long.
So many diaries. USENET posts. Blog posts. Emails.
So much reaching out for attention, boardering on a craving that laughs the need to reproduce clear past the dark side of the most distant parallel universe.
(Why doesn't anyone ever speak of perpendicular universes? Ooops! I guess "they" do!)
Well, said craving has apparently collected itself into yet another verbal zit in need of a keyboard scratching.
So here we go. And with a little luck, we can make this whole danged thing work out.

Relaxing, but also rather warm, in a wool sweater, a few hours after perhaps the best nachos I've ever had: barbeque pork nachos at "Ditkas" (connected to the hotel).
I think an actress just walked out of the clothier I just mentioned, of the "character" variety (a term which never made sense to me, because don't they all portray nothing but characters? Hmmm.) Can't remember any particular movie or TV show. Always has kind of a concerned, motherly look on her face, with a certain amount of never having really done what she wanted to do with her life, kind of look. You know the look, but you hope you don't have it, you know?
No lack of money in these parts.
Which reminds me: who gets the money from that recent "economic stimulus" package?
I'm not a shopper, not even for things I like and/or want. Don't like features pitted against each other, don't like sales "associates", etc.
Whatever. I have 2 of 4 bars of battery left. I can make it.
It would appear the notion of "groups" (associated with my "contact list" on my phone) is the key.
Except, of course, nothing ever works the way you'd really like, especially with Verizon.
What's nice about the notion of "groups" on this phone is that a single group becomes an alias of sorts for one or more contacts. Fine. Wonderful, even.
But what sucks is that you can't simply put a group name in the To: field of a txt message. Rather, you select a group, and that brings up a dialog where you have to check the contacts of the group you want included in the To: field. And the default isn't for all to be pre-selected, but for none to be selected.
That means you have to waste time clicking in little checkboxes, when you already knew in advance that you wanted the txt to go to ALL in the group, and generally do.
That's Mary writing a journal entry. blip.tv really takes video sharing to new heights, making youtube look like some Fischer (sp? Fisher? neither looks right at the moment) Price equivalent.
